Prevent birds under solar panels
Birds, especially Jackdaws, like nesting under a heat source. The warm shelter underneath solar panels is an ideal nesting place for birds. However, these nests can cause a lot of nuisance.
Bird screens prevent birds from nesting under the panels and are easy to install on almost any type of solar panel
with a frame.
Nuisance by birds
Branches and nesting material underneath the panels reduce natural ventilation, which increases the output of the solar panels. The hotter the panels, the lower the efficiency.
On a hot day, the temperature underneath the panels can rise significantly. Dry nesting material under the panels increases the risk of fire.
dirt and noise nuisance
Birds, especially young birds, can cause a lot of noise nuisance when there is little space underneath the installation. The nesting material also clogs the gutter.
The branches can scratch the backsheet of the panel, resulting in resistance errors. The system stops generating power and the panels are irreparably damaged.
